Environmental Impact

Rowleys Commercial Energy Assessment Limited recognises that our operations do have an impact on the environment. We will meet or, where practicable, exceed the standards set by all relevant environmental legislation and approved code of practices.

To achieve this we take actions to ensure continuous improvement which are monitored and reviewed on an annual basis.

The policy’s purpose is to:

  • Ensure we meet or exceed all minimum standards for environmental protection established in legislation.

  • Minimise, as far as practicable, our impact upon the environment.

The organisation commits to:

  • Minimise all forms of waste from our activities whether produced directly or indirectly.

  • Minimise waste sent to landfill by reusing and recycling materials where ever possible.

  • Minimise the use of fuel through efficient task scheduling and route planning.

  • Minimise our energy usage through the implementation of good practice, such as switching off electrical equipment when not in use.

  • Minimise our use of paper by working electronically where practicable.

  • Minimise, and where possible, prevent pollution.

  • Source raw materials from sustainable sources to minimise environmental impact where practicable.

  • Instruct and educate our employees and others to raise awareness in order to deliver this policy.

  • Actively promote and encourage the above amongst our customers and suppliers.

All employees are made aware of their individual responsibility to take care of themselves, the environment and others that may be affected by their work and to cooperate with the company to fulfil its duties under Environmental legislation and this policy.

This policy is reviewed on an annual basis and is freely available to our customers, suppliers, employees and the general public.
