Domestic Floor Plans

Whether you are trying to sell or rent out your house, a floor plan will help potential purchasers or tenants understand what you have on offer.  A floor plan is a drawing showing the layout of your property, the shapes and proportions of rooms and the location of key features.  They allow visualization of the space and can reduce the need for potential purchasers to visit the property to check their furniture will fit.  Most agencies now consider floor plans an essential part of the marketing materials of any property offered for sale or let.

Our service includes a visit to your premises to survey and measure the property.  We will then produce high quality plans using the latest professional software.

Our prices for domestic floor plans start from £84.00 (£70.00 plus VAT).

Bundle Deal:  Purchase both a domestic EPC and a floor plan at the same time for the same property and save money.  Our package prices for both start from just £114.00 (£95.00 plus VAT).

Floor plans are suitable for marketing and layout purposes only.  Room dimensions are measured but other fixtures and fittings are representative (if noted at all). Drawings are usually presented as pdf file and measurements, where stated, are approximate.

FAQ: Domestic Floor Plan

Lease plans have to take a specific format and include specific information to meet the requirements of the Land Registry.  Floor plans are intended for use in marketing a property for sale or rent and, as such, are not suitable for use as a lease plan.

However, we have access to specialists in our team who are able to produce lease plans that meet the requirements of the Land Registry.  We do not have a great demand for this service but are able to offer it on request.  Please contact our team for more information including the information required and prices.

During our assessors site visit, all rooms will be measured and the approximate dimensions recorded.  These can either be included on your floor plan or provided as a separate listing depending upon your preference.

Generally, most clients like to keep the floor plans as clutter free as possible to show the space available in the property.  As such they prefer to list the room dimensions separately in the property listing.  However, if you prefer, they can be added to the diagram.

Measurements can be shown in either metric, imperial or both, again depending upon your preference.

Please let us know your preferences at the time of the survey as making changes to a plan after it has been produced may incur an additional charge.
