SBEM Masterclass (CPD)

This 6.5 hour CPD day will provide practising non-domestic energy assessors with an SBEM refresher using the latest England and Wales version (iSBEM 5.3a).  Topics covered include entering SBEM data effectively, basic calculations including boiler efficiencies, calculations of COP and EER of split systems, hot water standing losses, and exhaust calculations. Additionally, consideration will be given to the basic data quality checks assessors should carry out prior to lodgement.

During the session delegates are encouraged to share any queries they have or difficulties they have encountered.  There is also an opportunity for questions and discussions formally during the day and informally over lunch.

Programme Outline

During the day you will cover:

  1. Entering SBEM data effectively.
  2. Basic calculations including boiler efficiencies, calculations of COP and EER of split systems, hot water standing losses, and exhaust calculations.
  3. Basic data quality checks assessors should carry out prior to lodgement.

Prerequisites

This programme is intended for practising Non-Domestic Energy Assessors but may also be suitable for those wishing to develop a better understanding of the field before committing to a full qualification course.  It is also a useful refresher for Level 3 Non-Domestic Energy Assessors considering upgrading their qualification to Level 4.

Upon successful completion of this programme delegates will have updated their knowledge and practice to reflect new developments in the field.
